The sheriff's department said Saturday the 47-year-old man and 43-year-old woman knew each other.

Deputies say he threatened to hurt her if she tried to leave his house. She escaped Friday evening after the man passed out from drinking. She fled to a neighbor's home and called 911.

She was treated for injuries at a hospital and released.

Deputies found a hand gun and rifle at the man's home.

The suspect is being held on tentative charges of felony terroristic threats, domestic assault and false imprisonment.
