BROOTEN -- The top-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars rolled to its largest margin of victory this season by overwhelming Holdingford 85-25 Friday in a Central Minnesota Conference game.

The unbeaten Jaguars (13-0, 25-0) beat Holdingford 79-25 in the season's first meeting on Jan. 31 in Holdingford.

Connor Goodwin ignited the Jaguars this time around with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Billy Borgerding followed with 14 points and 7 rebounds, Brian Goodwin chipped in 11 points, 7 assists and 3 steals, and Kirby Montbriand pumped in 12 points.

Trey Heinsius also dished out 7 assists and made 3 steals for BBE, which plays at Pierz today at 7:30 p.m. in its regular-season finale.

Hancock dropped its final game of the regular season to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 58-34 in a Pheasant Conference game on Friday.

The No. 6 Owls (3-3, 8-15) will face No. 11 Underwood 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Section 6A tournament.

Jordan Miller led Hancock with 12 points and 2 steals.

Collin Cunningham had 9 points and 2 steals, and Michells Algarate had 2 points and 9 rebounds.

Matthew Peterson led WHN with 17 points.
