PIERZ — Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won its 48th straight game, rolling past Pierz 75-42 on Tuesday in Pierz.

The Jaguars (5-0, 15-0) got double-digit scoring from Billy Borgerding, Brian Goodwin, Trey Heinsius and James Kuefler.

Borgerding grabbed 9 rebounds, and Goodwin had 5 assists and 4 steals while sinking three treys.

The Jaguars next play Friday in Belgrade against Holdingford.

Jake Amundson drained four 3-pointers on the way to scoring a game-high 20 points for the victorious Lakers. Austin Giese added 12 points, 6 assists and 3 steals, while Austin Ostrander chipped in 12 rebounds and 7 points.

Dylan Erickson scored 20 points and Eric Smith had 13 points and 10 rebounds to help the Eagles stave off Yellow Medicine East’s second-half comeback attempt in a West Central South Conference game Tuesday at the LQPV gym.

Dazhown Coleman had 7 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists, Austin Haas had 8 points and 3 steals and Garrett Olson had 4 points and 7 boards for the Eagles.

Logan DeBlieck led the Sting with 14 points and Blake Lindstrom had 13 points 5 boards and 6 assists.

The Eagles play next at ACGC at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Montevideo 67, BOLD 62

Montevideo surrendered a nine-point halftime lead and then some, but the Thunder Hawks rallied from a seven-point deficit with a 12-0 run and defeated the Warriors on Tuesday in Montevideo.

Montevideo, now 6-2 in the West Central South Conference and 8-5 overall, played a third straight game without top player Jesse Brace, who suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury. The T-Hawks lost their first two games playing without Brace.

On Tuesday, the T-Hawks led 38-29 at the break but BOLD’s 3-point barrage brought them back, and the Warriors led 56-49 late in the game before Monte mounted its rally.

Troy Diggins hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points for Montevideo. Diggins also had 5 assists and 3 steals. Ryan Maroney, who hit key free throws down the stretch, finished with 14 points and Jordan Thompson scored 11 points. Spencer Hildahl had a team-high 10 rebounds.

BOLD’s Tyler Rock hit four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points, and he also had 7 assists.

LITCHFIELD — Zach Whitchurch drained 5 of 7 three-point attempts and finished with 20 points as the Litchfield Dragons rolled over Glencoe-Silver Lake 58-40 on Tuesday in Litchfield.

Riley Pater dominated the inside game with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Only 10 fouls were called on the two teams and just 9 free throws were taken.

Reed Dunbar led the Panthers with 10 point and five rebounds.

Litchfield, shooting 50 percent from the field, improved to 3-1 in the Wright County and 9-3 overall.
