The Tigers, playing in their opener, were in front 26-19 at one point before BBE (3-0) scored the final two buckets of the first half to go into the locker room down only 26-23.

The teams fought to a 37-all tie midway through the second half before BBE pulled ahead 39-37, a score that would stand for about five minutes before the Jaguars pulled away by getting some fastbreak baskets and sinking their free throws.

Billy Borgerding paced BBE with 18 points and Brian Goodwin added 13 more. Goodwin was 6-for-6 at the foul line down the stretch and had 10 points in second half. James Kuefler netted 8 of his 12 points in the second-half comeback.

Jacob Torgerson had 12 points and Logan Manska 10 to pace the Tigers, who got within 2 with three minutes left in the game.
