KERKHOVEN -- Sam Peterson had 22 points -- all in the first half -- and 11 other players scored for Benson as the Braves rolled to a 73-44 non-conference win over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Thursday.

Peterson outscored KMS (4-11) by himself in the first half as the Braves (11-6) owned a 43-21 lead at intermission. Matt Ahrndt with 11 points was the only other player to score in a balanced Benson attack. Peterson and Carl Hoffman led a plus-23 advantage in rebounds by grabbing 9 each.

Jonah Johnson had 14 points and Austen Bowman knocked in another 12 to pace the Fighting Saints.

ACGC (10-5) trailed 29-24 at the half, but came back with 35 in the second half to force OT.
