Boys basketball: Blackjacks top Bluejays

PRINSBURG — Joey Lee scorched the nets for 33 points and Michael Lee and Nathaniel Huot combined for 32 more to help Dawson-Boyd upend Central Minnesota Christian 86-56 in a Camden Conference game Friday.
Joey Lee had 25 points alone in the first half as the Blackjacks, ranked No. 10 in Class A, raced to a 42-26 lead at halftime. Huot and Michael Lee scored the other 17 first-half points.
Michael Lee would finish with 17 points and Huot 15 while the two also added 9 and 8 rebounds, respectively. Huot also pitched in 6 steals and 4 assists.
Eleven players scored for the Bluejays, but only Nick Daugherty with 12 points was in double figures. The junior center also collected a game-high 11 rebounds, while Grant Hoekstra added 7 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.
