Boys basketball: BLHS too much for Thunderbirds

WINTHROP — The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart’s Kyle Kubesh scored 25 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in a 70-50 win over the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds on Monday.
BLHS improved to 2-2 in the Tomahawks Conference while the Thunderbirds fell to 2-2 in the league.
Mason Clark had 14 points and 6 rebounds for BLHS, which shot 52 percent from the field.
