WILLMAR — Taking no chances, Willmar pulled the plug early on Sauk Rapids winning 72-34 perhaps preserving energy for today’s matinee feature.


Willmar returns to its home court in 18 hours to play Moorhead, a much tougher foe. The 4A Spuds (12-5) are riding an 8-game win streak that includes a 95-93 win on Feb. 1 that ended Brainerd’s undefeated season.
