Boys basketball: Cardinals weather the Storm

WILLMAR — Shooting at a 50 percent clip — that included 11 of 21 three-point shots — the Willmar Cardinals breezed by the winless Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 76-52 in a Central Lakes Conference game on Friday evening.

Scoring was well distributed for the Cardinals, now 4-1 in the CLC. Six players had at least six points.

Kyler Johnson plinked for 19 points, Dylan Schueler 13 Adam Nibaur 10, Joel Carter 9, and Tyler Stegeman 8.
