LITCHFIELD — Alex Hendricks led Litchfield with 16 points and the Dragons defeated Paynesville 64-36 Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Section 6AA-South Sub-Section playoffs at Litchfield High School.

The 21-5 Dragons play Eden Valley-Watkins in the sub-section semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s University.

Ten Dragons scored against the Bulldogs, who trailed 31-13 at the half.

Litchfield’s Zach Kinny had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

Riley Pater had 10 points and 3 steals and Joel Madsen and Cameron Sundmark both scored 7 points.

Zach Whitchurch and Dylan Koll both score 6 points and Koll also had 6 rebounds.

Andrew Topp led the Bulldogs with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Nick Reiman had 7 points.
