NEW LONDON — Litchfield rode a 20-point performance from Zach Kinny to beat New London-Spicer 63-41 in a Wright County Conference game on Tuesday in New London.

Riley Pater added 13 points and 8 rebounds, and Zach Whitchurch had 12 points and hit four 3-pointers for the Dragons (6-2, 12-4).

The Dragons shot 60 percent from the field and were 10 for 17 on free throws.

Litchfield outrebounded NLS 30-17 and quieted the Wildcats offense, as no NLS player scored more than 8 points.

The Dragons next play Thursday at home against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, and the Wildcats (5-3, 10-9) travel to Annadale on Friday.
