PAYNESVILLE — Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa unleashed relentless defense on Paynesville, built a huge first-half lead and cruised to a 75-43 non-conference win over the Bulldogs on Thursday.


BBE improved to 8-1 overall while the Bulldogs fell to 5-6.

BBE’s defense deflected passes, blocked shots and rarely let Paynesville get into any offensive flow from the opening tap.
