Boys Basketball: Lindblad leads Dawson-Boyd to Camden win

KERKHOVEN -- Kruiz Lindblad netted 31 points and Matt Anderson collected a triple-double to help Dawson-Boyd upend Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 80-62 in a Camden North Conference boys basketball game Monday.

The Blackjacks (9-6, 12-10) owned a slim 39-35 lead at halftime before sealing the win by going on a run about eight minutes into the second half. Dawson-Boyd shot just over 50 percent from two-point range and 67 percent (8-for-12) from beyond the arc.

Anderson piled up 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Colin Bergeson added 13 more points.

The Fighting Saints (9-5, 14-7) were paced by Taylor Freetly's 16 points, Adam Miller's 13 points and Cole Berget's near double-double of nine points and nine rebounds.
