MARSHALL -- As expected, Dawson-Boyd claimed a spot in the Section 3A North Sub-Section final against its to Camden Conference rival.

The Blackjacks won their 16th straight game, 75-36, over Lincoln HI in the sub-section semifinals on Thursday at Southwest Minnesota State.

Now, Dawson-Boyd (25-2) will face off for a third time against Camden Conference co-champ, MACCRAY, at 8 p.m. Saturday at SMSU. MACCRAY advanced to the title game with a victory over Ortonville Thursday, also in Marshall.

D-B and MACCRAY met twice this season, with each team winning in its home floor.

Against Lincoln HI, Dawson-Boyd had the game pretty much in hand at halftime, leading by 21 points.

Nine Blackjacks scored in the game, led by Joey Lee, who finished with 19 points. He also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Jack Hansen scored 13 points and Evan Robertson had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
