The two could meet again in a week -- this time in New London -- in the inter-conference championship game if NLS (17-8) can beat Melrose on Tuesday to claim the North title. Morris (19-3) has already clinched the South title.

NLS just missed forcing overtime after Jay Moten's half-court three-point attempt banked off the glass and rimmed out of the basket.

Cory Hennen paced the Tigers with 13 points while Chris Scott followed with 12, Jackson Henrich 11 and Eric Riley 10. NLS had Aaron Johnson net 15 points and Erik Tengwall add 12 more.
