MONTEVIDEO -- Be-hind a balanced scoring attack, Morris rallied past Montevideo 49-48 to complete a two-game West Central South Conference sweep of the Tigers Thursday night.

Cory Hennen's mid-range jumper tied the game for Morris with under a minute remaining and Lincoln Arnold soon followed with a free throw.

Montevideo (7-2, 11-4) led 27-17 at halftime before Morris staged its comeback.

Hennen finished with 13 points and Chris Scott added 12 for the Tigers.

Eric Brandon led Montevideo with 20 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Jeff Jerve had nine points and seven rebounds.

Tanner Wendroth made five 3-pointers and led the Bulldogs (7-2, 8-7) with 19 points. Nathan Nietfeld had a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, Jamison Wall contributed 11 points and Mitchell Marlow had five assists.

Anton Leiseth paced YME (0-9, 1-12) with 14 points and seven rebounds. Taylor Olson had 12 points and Dylan Lindstrom 10.

The Lakers (4-5, 6-8) shot a sweltering 69 percent (31 of 45) from the floor and outrebounded the Falcons (5-4, 10-6), 41-18.

Shane Bosek and Pierce Peters each posted double-doubles for Minnewaska. Bosek had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Peters had 20 points and 11 boards. Ben Peters added 13 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots. Brady Johnsrud chipped in 14 points and Jake Mikkelson had 10.

Joel Slinden scored 22 points and pulled down 11 boards to lead ACGC. Jeff Peterson tallied 20 points, Jordan Tanner had 16 points and Brooks Maurer 11.
