Boys basketball: NLS, Litchfield meet for 6AA-South title tonight

New London-Spicer (14-14) and Litchfield (22-5) meet for the third time this season in a game scheduled for a 7:45 p.m. tipoff today at Sexton Arena on the St. John ‘s University campus.
The winner of the Section 6AA-South championship game advances to play the Melrose-Albany 6AA-North winner, which is this evening’s early game.
Tonight’s two winners will play for the 6AA title and a state trip at 8 p.m. Friday at Halenbeck Hall in St. Cloud.
Litchfield prevailed over NLS in both Wright County meetings. The Dragons are the defending champions in this section; their three losses in 2013 have each been by one point.
