NEW LONDON -- Todd Herman scored 27 points and New London-Spicer used a 7-0 run midway through the first half Thursday to beat Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 66-57 and remain unbeaten in the West Central North Conference.

Herman also grabbed eight rebounds and pocketed four steals for the No. 5-ranked Wildcats (8-0, 15-1). Brian Pieh followed Herman in the scoring column with 10 points while Justin Haats and Wade Wessling both hooked eight rebounds.
