Boys Basketball: Peters' late basket carries Waska past BOLD, 67-65

GLENWOOD -- Ben Peters' put-back with two seconds left in the game gave Minnewaska Area a 67-65 win over BOLD in West Central South Conference boys basketball action on Friday.

Minnewaska missed a free throw, but Peters was there to clean up. He finished with 24 points and nine rebounds.

BOLD tied the game on the previous play on a basket by Tyler Hebrink, who paced the Warriors with 20 points and nine rebounds.

Shane Bosek added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Lakers. Mike Whittemore chipped in 11 points.

Kyle Athmann sank four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for BOLD. Brandon Ochs added 13 points, including three treys.
