The Mustangs (17-12) saw their two-point halftime lead disappear in the second half as Cedar Mountain/Comfrey's Tyler Pendleton and Dalton Kleinschmidt scored 16 and 12 points, respectively. Pendleton finished with 21 points.

Andy Kalenberg recorded a game-high 22 points for the Mustangs, plus seven rebounds and five steals. Joe Kubesh added a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Mustangs shot well from the field (46 percent), but took 12 less shots than Cedar Mt./Comfrey.
