BENSON -- Shaun Concon of MACCRAY won the three-point shooting contest at the Camden vs. West Central South Conference Challen on Saturday, then proceeded to shoot down Benson as well in the final game.

Condon poured in a game-high 31 points as the Wolverines blitzed Benson 90-59 in the final game of the Challenge, giving the Camden Conference bragging rights for a year with a 3-2 overall win over the South. Four teams from the Camden played against four from the West Central South. Each conference won two games, but the final game is worth two points.

MACCRAY, which shot 61 percent, was clinging to a 49-40 lead before blowing the game open by outscoring the Braves 41-19 the rest of the way. The Wolverines finished with 11 three-pointers by six different players.

Seth Hinrichs added 16 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for MACCRAY (22-0). Dylan Aeikens had 13 points, seven assists and three steals.

Cody Jaeger led four Benson (12-10) players in double figures with 14 points. Brennan Kent, Sam Peterson and Keagan Pangrac had 11 points each.

Dawson-Boyd 69, YME 64

(Overtime) -- Dawson-Boyd avoided an upset, but had to rally from a six-point halftime deficit to win in overtime.

The Blackjacks (15-5) scored the first four points in overtime and never trailed after that. YME's Taylor Olson was fouled on a three-point shot and cashed all three free throws to cut the deficit to 64-61.

YME was working for a tying shot trailing 67-64, but turned the ball over and the Blackjacks scored on a layup for the final margin.

Zach Stelter pumped in 23 points for Dawson-Boyd. Kruiz Lindblad added 20 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Matt Anderson had 12 points and eight assists and Andrew Roiger finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Taylor Olson paced YME (5-15) with 24 points. Dylan Lindstrom chipped in 14 oints, five rebounds, eight assists and six steals. Brian Rosenau and Kris Goss had 12 points each.
