GROVE CITY — Taylor Larson hit a 3-pointer with 1:20 left in the game to lift Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City over Benson 67-66 on Thursday in Grove City.

It was one of four 3-point shots for Larson, who had 27 points on the night for the Falcons (1-0, 3-1).

For the Braves, it was the second one-point loss of a still winless season.

The Falcons led 37-29 at the half, and the Braves nearly came back, outscoring ACGC 37-30 in the second half.

Jacob Belgum had a double-double for ACGC with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Dylan Hoerchler had 7 points and 12 assists.

Colin Ose led the Braves with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
