ROCKFORD — BBE ran its winning streak to 45 games with a conference win at Rockford on Tuesday.

The Jaguars, now 12-0 overall and 3-0 in the league, got 26 points, 7 assists and 7 steals from Brian Goodwin and Billy Borgerding scored 17 points and had 5 steals.

BBE’s James Kuefler had 8 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.

The Jaguars play their third straight road game at Kimball at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Aaron Ruter made 1 of 2 free throws with 10 seconds left and the visiting Cardinals failed to get off a shot before the horn.

Ruter led the Wildcats in their Wright Conference debut. The senior guard pumped in 19 points in the first half, canning quintet of 3s, helping New London-Spicer post a 51-41 lead. He and Joey Dreier each had a pair of treys in a 13-2 run to end the half.

Ruter’s 22 points were part of an all-around game that also logged 10 assists, 7 rebounds and three steals.

Dreier drilled 16 points, Tyler Halvorson 12 and Ryan Vraa 8 more. Tyson Gislason supplied 5 points and 6 rebounds.

Brett Fobbe lasered five 3-pointers on the way to 29 points as Annandale dropped to 8-3.

Dazhown Coleman stole the ball away and scored on a breakaway layup with 1 second left in overtime to lift Lac qui Parle Valley over BOLD 50-48 on Tuesday in Bird Island.

BOLD (3-3, 4-6) led by 6 at the half, but the Eagles came back to tie it at 44 at the end of regulation.

With the teams locked at 48 with 6 seconds remaining, the Warriors lobbed it into the top when Coleman took it away.

Coleman finished with 6 points and 3 steals.

Minnewaska 73

Dylan Hoerchler made three free throws in the final 3.5 seconds to lead ACGC to a victory over the Lakers on Tuesday in Bird Island.

With the score tied at 73, Minnewaska intentionally fouled Hoerchler with 3.5 second left, meaning that he’d get two foul shots and the Falcons would also get the ball. Hoerchler hit one of the free throws, then took the inbounds pass and was fouled again. He hit both of the foul shots to ice the game.

Hoerchler hit four 3-pointer and led the Falcons with 27 points. He also had 8 assists and 3 steals.

Jordan Nelson scored 11 points and Logan Jacobs had 10 points and 9 rebounds. David Kinzler and Taylor Larson, who hit three 3-pointers, both scored 9 points.
