Boys Basketball Roundup: Blackjacks rumble past LQPV to stay unbeaten

MADISON — Unbeaten Dawson-Boyd overcame a one-point first-half deficit to top Lac qui Parle Valley 70-50 Tuesday in a Camden Conference game.

Michael Lee, who had 31 points overall, scored 17 of the Blackjacks’ 43 second-half points.

Jess Hansen added 18 points with three 3-pointers, and Joey Lee had 13 points.

The Eagles, paced by Kellen Kessler’s 13 points, led 28-27 at the half.

LQPV next plays Thursday when they host Minneota/Lincoln HI.

The Blackjacks (8-0), ranked No. 4 in Class A, host Canby on Thursday.
