PRINSBURG — Central Minnesota Christian came back from a first-half deficit to outscore Canby by 12 points in the second half and take home a 67-60 Camden Conference win over the 13-win Lancers on Saturday.

Nick Daugherty led the Bluejays with a double-double — 23 points and 11 rebounds — and combined with Austin Bulthuis (20 points) and Taylor Slagter (18 points) to score 61 of CMCS’ 67 points.

After a 2-3 start, CMCS has won seven of its last nine and the Bluejays take an 8-3 conference record and a 9-5 overall mark into Friday’s home game against undefeated Dawson-Boyd.

Renville County West rebounded from a 14-point halftime deficit but couldn’t stay with the Yellow Medicine East on the boards and the Sting came away with the victory Saturday in Granite Falls.

Chase Richter led the Sting with 21 points and Blake Lindstrom pumped in 17 points and also had 7 assists. Ted Sjurseth and Logan DeBlieck both pulled down 8 rebounds for YME, which held a 41-24 rebounding advantage.

RCW’s Ian Engstrom played strong, with 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Colin Thompson and Griffen Schaub both scored 13.

The Jaguars (16-1) knocked off the Tigers, a Section 6A foe at Brooten on Saturday for their 16th win. BBE’s lone loss was to AAAA No. 1 Apple Valley.
