Boys basketball roundup: Cowboys beat Bulldogs in Case IH Championship

BENSON — Breckenridge rode a 43-point second half to upend Paynesville 66-46 in the championship game of the Benson Invite on Saturday in Benson.

The Cowboys, now 2-5 overall, took a five-point lead into halftime before overpowering the Bulldogs late.

Nate Lorenz and Jordan Christensen scored 15 points each with Lorenz collecting 9 rebounds. Zarek Reiff added 11 points for the Cowboys.
