Boys basketball roundup: Dawson-Boyd edges ACGC 69-66

RENVILLE — Dawson-Boyd won the battle of the 3-point line and defeated ACGC 69-66 in the Camden/West Central Challenge on Saturday.
Joey Lee hit five of the Blackjacks’ 11 3-pointers and finished with 26 points, and Nathaniel Huot drilled four 3s and scored 23 points.
ACGC hit 7 of 19 treys. Taylor Larson led the Falcons with 21 points and Jacob Belgum had 17 and Dylan Hoerchler scored 11 points and had 5 assists.

Jake Torgerson hit a free throw with 3.6 seconds left to seal the win for the Tigers Saturday as the back end of a one-and-one gave Morris/Chokio-Alberta (16-5) a 55-51 lead.
Breckenridge (6-13) then hit a half-court heave for the final score.
Austin Dierks delivered 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Chandler Erickson 10 points, 5 assists and 2 steals for the Tigers. Lincoln Berget chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds.
