The visiting Bulldogs (1-2) led by three at halftime and even with one of their stars, Nick Machemehl, on the bench in foul trouble, nearly owned a double-digit advantage throughout the second half. But the unbeaten Falcons fought back and eventually took control of the lead with 4 minutes.

ACGC made its free throws down the stretch to preserve the win and improve to 3-0.

Taylor Larson finished with 23 points behind three 3-pointers, six free throws and four 2-point buckets. The senior scored 21 points in the opener and also netted 23 points in the Falcons’ previous game.

Brody Larson added 17 points — 13 in the second half — and David Kinzler supplied another 11. Colton Minnick (9) and Adam Johnson (8) led the Falcons in rebounding as the Bulldogs had a 46-32 advantage in boards. Brody Larson led the squad with 3 assists and 3 steals.

Machemehl had 19 points to pace the Bulldogs. Spencer Radtke added 14 points and Jordan Radtke a game-high 15 rebounds.
