Boys basketball roundup: NLS shakes down Monte

MONTEVIDEO — The Wildcats shot 50 percent in the Thunder Hawks gym to cruise to a 66-45 win on Friday night in non-conference boys basketball.

New London-Spicer bolted to a 40-19 lead and then played Montevideo even the second half, each scoring 26 points.

Twelve players scored for the Cats. Tyler Halverosn with 14 and Tyson Gislason with 10 were alone in twin figures.

Jesse Brace and Ryan Maroney were top scorers for the T-Hawks with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
