KERKHOVEN — Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, co-leaders of the southern division in the Camden Conference, toppled Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 79-26 Tuesday.

The Knights improved to 7-3 in conference play and 11-4 overall after jumping out to a 55-9 lead at halftime. Brett Vercruysse scored a game-high 24 points to lead the charge.

Vercruysse also pulled in a game-high 7 rebounds, while Brett Peterson added 14 points and 4 steals, and Brett Knudsen 13 points and 4 assists.

James Faulkner knocked down three 3-pointers en route to scoring a team-high 11 points for KMS. Preston Mahlum added 9 points and Josh Peterson and Taylor Feldman 5 rebounds each.
