Boys basketball: Wildcats hold back Chargers

NEW LONDON — Trent Boie with 17 points led the Wildcats on Tuesday night in a 64-51 win over Dassel-Cokato.
It’s the fourth win in five games for New London-Spicer in their new conference, the Wright County.
Aaron Ruter followed with 12 points and Joey Dreier with 10.
Guard Ryan Vraa led rebounding with 7 grabs plus 5 assists.
Reid Johnson supplied 5 assists, too.
The Chargers dropped to 0-15. Jake Smith put in 14 points and Matt Johnson supplied 10 rebounds and 8 points.
The Wildcats have a road game at Class AAA No. 7 Delano on Thursday.
