Boys Basketball: Wollin leads Dragons past NLS

LITCHFIELD -- Mitch Wollin led three Dragons in double figures as Litchfield topped New London-Spicer 80-62 to start the new season in boys basketball. Wollin also stabbed 14 rebounds.

The Dragons had control of the boards picking off 51 rebounds while getting off 70 shots, including 7 of 20 from the arc.

Jon Terning followed with 17 points and Riley Pater with 13.

Pater, Wollin and Zach Kinny combined to haul in 34 rebounds.

NLS got 14 points from Joey Dreier and 13 from Tyler Halvorson, who made 3 of the Wildcats' 6 treys. Trent Boie supplied 9 points and 6 rebounds.
