Boys Golf: Cardinals tie for 9th at Apollo Invite

ST. CLOUD — Edina’s top four scores averaged 74 Wednesday to rule the 17-team field at the 40th annual St. Cloud Apollo Invitational at The Territory Golf Club.

The Hornets’ 297 was seven strokes better than runner-up and Central Lakes Conference power Brainerd. The CLC also had St. Cloud Tech come in third and Alexandria fourth. Willmar tied St. Cloud Cathedral for ninth at 337.

Zach Berget paced Willmar with an 80, while Riley Grabow’s 82, Jason Dickerson’s 86 and Brady Damhof’s 89 rounded out the team’s top four scores.

Willmar will be at the Alexandria Invite today.
