WILLMAR — In their “spring” debut Tuesday, the Willmar Cardinals played seven waterlogged holes in freezing cold at Brainerd before the meet was canceled.

Friday, at home, on a day so fair it should be trademarked, the Cardinals were more than ready to play a full round.
