Boys Golf: Dreier fuels NLS win

BENSON -- Joey Dreier's 1-under 71 fueled New London-Spicer to a win Thursday at the Benson Golf Club during the Section 3AA-Northeast meet.

The Wildcats bested Minnewaska, which qualified four individuals for the section final, by 30 strokes. Following Dreier was Corbyn Schwartz with a 75, Reid Johnson and Jordan Baker with 82s, Ethan Bohlsen at 85 and James Magnuson at 89.

Individuals advancing to the section final, which is next Friday at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Willmar, are Dylan Buckingham, Brett Buckingham, Derek Burd and Esten Stensrud of Minnewaska and Mitch McCosh of Yellow Medicine East.
