BENSON — Joey Dreier shot 75 and Reid Johnson 77 on Thursday at the Benson Golf Club to lead the New London-Spicer Wildcats to the sub-section title.

The team advances to the 5AA final four next Thursday at Eagle Creek in Willmar.

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa finished Central Minnesota Conference play in third place behind Rockford and Osakis. Rockford’s Brody Harstad shot a 38 to earn medalist, and Jordan Lewis paced BBE with a 45.

Wednesday at Glenwood

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley tied for first with a 376, but CGB won a tiebreaker when its fifth-best score was three strokes lower than BBE’s fifth score. Both teams advance to Wednesday’s section final in Benson.

Jordan Lewis, one of only two players to break 80 at Minnewaska Golf Course, finished just two shots off the medalist score to pace the Jaguars.
