Boys Golf: Litch wins WCC meet by 1 stroke

HUTCHINSON -- Litchfield defeated Mound-Westonka and Orono by one shot on Friday in a Wright County Conference meet, and the Dragons maintained a seven-stroke edge overall over Mound-Westonka in the conference standings.

Delano's Jordan Peters earned medalist honors with a 38 and Josh Polingo was Litchfield's low scorer with a 40.

The Wright County teams play next at Burl Oaks Golf Club, in Mound, at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
