MORRIS -- Montevideo extended its lead in the West Central South Conference with another win on Tuesday at Pomme de Terre Golf Club.

Phillip Ward of Montevideo shot a 3-under 33 to take medalist honors. Teammate Jacobey Johnson and Benson/KMS's Sam Petrson each shot a 37 to tie for second.

Ryan Knudson had a 41 and Grant Tufto a 43 to round out the Thunder Hawks' scoring.

Montevideo now has 43 points, five ahead of Benson/KMS and six in front of Yellow Medicine East.

For NLS, Reid Johnson and Jordan Baker each shot 40, while Joey Dreier finished with a 41 and Corbin Schwartz had a 43.

Zach Hauser shot an even-par 72 to claim medalist honors and help MACCRAY win the 11-team invite by five shots over Westbrook/Walnut Grove. Dean Schroeder's 78 placed him third individually for the Wolverines.

Dawson-Boyd finished third, paced by Easton Popma's 82.
