BRAINERD — Logan Rivard delivered a hat trick plus an assist for four points as the Brainerd Warriors rolled over Willmar 5-0 on Monday in a Central Lakes Conference game.

The Cardinals were outshot 35-15.

Levi Goosmann made 30 saves in the Willmar goal.

The Warriors are 5-0-1 their past six games.

“They just beat Moorhead and they are right up there with Roseau,” said Willmar head coach Dan Tollefson. “They jumped on us in the second period. We battled and got some good looks in the third period; a couple of pipes.

“They are a good team. No question.”

The Cardinals will host River Lakes in a makeup on Friday; it will be Pack the Rink Night with free admission to Willmar students in school colors or hockey sweaters.
