Boys hockey: LDC’s late rally not enough

MOUND — In a game of wild momentum swings, Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato fell 7-5 to Mound Westonka who wrapped up the victory with an empty-net goal with 10 seconds left.
The Dragons had filtered three goals to storm back from a 6-2 deficit with just five minutes left in the third period.
Eddie Estrada scored twice and Aaron Haataja also scored in the late rally.
After the Dragons shot to a 2-0 lead, the Redhawks poured on the gas to score six straight goals.
