Boys hockey roundup: Storm soaks Bagley/Fosston 9-2

BAGLEY — The high-flying Morris/Benson Area offense was relentless against Bagley-Fosston on Saturday, scoring multiple goals in all three periods of a 9-2 non-conference win on Saturday.
Mac Beyer scored two goals and Riley Blake and Darion Helberg both scored a goal and had two assists.
Brody Gimberlin, Andrew Rentz, Corey Storck and Corey Goff also scored goals for the Storm.
The Storm put 43 shots on goal – 37 in the first two periods – and goalie Kyle Kennedy made 13 saves for the win.

Matt Kissner scored the game-winning goal and Stefan Tomovic and Joe Spaulding netted insurance goals in the third period in River Lakes’ 6-3 over Fergus Falls in a Central Lakes Conference game at the Koronis Civic Arena on Saturday.
Dylan Jude and Daiton Johnson scored first-period goals and Jake Herges notched a goal in the second that put the Stars back in front after Fergus Falls tied the game 2-2.

Six different Orono skaters scored goals and Derek Limesand assisted on two goals in a 6-1 win over Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato in a Wright County Conference game on Saturday.
LDC’s Aaron Haataja spoiled Orono goalie Jon Flakne’s shutout with an unassisted goal at 8:22 of the second period.
