Boys Swimming & Diving: Sauk Rapids sink Cardinals

WILLMAR — Trent Flegel won two individual events and swam a leg on the winning 200-medley relay but the Willmar Cardinals were overwhelmed by the Sauk Rapids Storm 102-81 in the home pool on Tuesday in a CLC boys swimming and diving dual meet.

Nash VanKlompenburg won the 100 back. Fleegel was first in both the 50 free and the 100 fly.

Willmar won diving when eighth-grader Gerson Garcia-Maldonado scored 141.30.
