MONTEVIDEO — The Thunder Hawks are to 3-1 after taking down the Cardinals 5-2 Tuesday in a non-conference match behind a sweep in doubles and wins from Jared Saue and Taylor Landmark in singles.

In doubles, Connor Dann and Ryan Neville at No. 2 and Branden Johnson and Donavon Albers at No. 3 won in straight sets, while Martin Moore and Tristin Voorhees bounced back after losing a first-set tiebreaker at No. 1.

LQPV/DB was close, losing two three set matches that could have turned the result around.
