In full sun, the mercury rose to 67 degrees by mid-afternoon only two days removed from yet another April snowfall.

St. John’s Prep’s team is composed almost entirely of international students, none of them seniors. The line-up included several Koreans, two Chinese, a Vietnamese and two Guatemalan brothers, who played JV.

SJP Coach Susan Culligan said most all are four-year students living in the dorms and returning to their home country in summer.

This was their second match, losing 6-1 to St. Cloud Cathedral. NLS improved to 2-3.
