Boys Tennis: Shorthanded MACCRAY edged by Redwood Valley
CLARA CITY — MACCRAY donated two points to start the match which proved too much to overcome, losing to Redwood Valley 4-3 Monday in the Southwest Conference.
MACCRAY took three of the five contested matches.
Philip Harms and and Miquel Garcia won points at 2- and 3-singles, the later in three sets.
Andrew DeHoux/Nathan Eisenmenger, after a slow start, overtook Shawn Sherman/Dallas Greenslit 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at 1-doubles.
But MACCRAY couldn’t field pairs for 2- and 3-doubles and had to forfeit to the Cardinals (2-6).
The Wolverines play in Worthington on Thursday for another conference match.
