Brainerd man dies in snowmobile crash

BRAINERD -- A 33-year-old Brainerd man has died in a snowmobile crash in Maple Grove Township.

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl says Brendt Vroman lost control of the snowmobile and overturned on Sunday afternoon. Vroman suffered head injuries and died at the scene.

He had been driving on a marked snowmobile trail on the south shores of Upper South Long Lake.

Authorities are still investigating.
