Bremer Bank Invite today and Saturday

The annual Bremer Bank Classic boys basketball tournament at Willmar High School starts today with Benson (1-4) playing New London-Spicer (4-2) at 6 p.m., followed by New Ulm (0-3) and Willmar (4-2) at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Game times Saturday are 6 p.m. for the third-place game and 7:30 p.m. for the championship.

NLS and Willmar have met, and split, in the last four first-place games. The Wildcats won last year 79-72 and went on to win the Class AA state title while Willmar took third place in AAA.
