Brooten teen hurt in Sunday night crash
BROOTEN — A 17-year-old Brooten girl was taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained in motor vehicle crash just before 10 p.m. Sunday in Brooten.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Marissa Quade was attempting to enter the parking lot of RJ’s Mini Mart, along the 700 block of State Highway 55, when she missed the entrance and drove her 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix into a steep ditch on the east side of the driveway.
Her passenger, Marisa Jacobson, 15, of Brooten, was not injured.
Also responding were the Brooten ambulance and fire departments.
