The child's mother returned from work to discover the break-in at the home on the 20000 block of Renville County Road 17 in Sacred Heart Township. She reported that two presents for her child were missing from under the Christmas tree. The presents were in red wrapping paper with images of Sponge Bob and Patrol. Baking supplies including almond bark, a $50 WalMart gift certificate, and a can holding about $30 in change were also reported stolen.

A window on a door was broken to gain entry, according to information from the Renville County Sheriff's Office.
