South Central Tent moves

WILLMAR -- James and Julie Johnson, owners of South Central Tent Rental Inc., have moved their business from U.S. Highway 12 East to 1009 16th St. N.E. in Willmar as of November 2009.

The Johnsons have owned the business since May 2002. They provide tents ranging from 10-by-10 to 40-by-200, tables, chairs, dance floors, staging and portable heaters for celebrations and corporate functions.

Robin Amberg joins Counselor

WILLMAR -- Robin Amberg has joined Counselor Realty in the Willmar/Olivia office at 1018 First St. S. in Willmar, effective Jan. 1. She has had her real estate license for six years.

Bremer offers global money transfer services

WILLMAR -- Bremer Banks in Willmar and Marshall are now offering global money transfer services through Western Union. The new service is available to both Bremer Bank account holders and walk-in consumers.

Bremer Bank research showed that a significant number of community members wanted to wire money to their home countries.

Rental housing management program Feb. 16

WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Multi Housing Association will sponsor a class on the fundamentals of rental property management from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16 in the multi-purpose room at the Willmar Public Library, 410 Fifth St. S.W. in Willmar.

The program will cover accepting applications, screening basics, leases, security deposits, fair housing, protecting your investment, licensing and regulations, ending the tenancy, and evictions.
